Join a Campus Bible study!

Here's the list of Fall 2019 Bible study times:

1. Mondays 11am-12pm SU Club's Space Workroom #6 Topic: Book of Ecclesiastes

Author Chuck Swindoll says that the book of Ecclesiastes presents a view of life through distinctively human eyes—but ultimately recognizes the rule and reign of God in the world. This more humanistic quality has made the book especially popular among many audiences today. Join us for this fascinating examination into this philosophical book.

Facilitators: Zach <[email protected]> and Aidan <[email protected]>

2. Mondays 1-2pm TFDL room #211 Topic: Book of Revelation

Revelation is a fascinating book and the only one in the Bible that explicitly promises a blessing to all who read it. So come join us as we navigate our way through this amazing book, with its unequaled portrait of Christ and its description of things past and present... and things to come!

Facilitator: Prof Greg Herrick <[email protected]

3. Tuesdays 12:30-1:30pm SU Club's Space Workroom #6 Topic: Philippians and Colossians

These famous books were written by the Apostle Paul, and outline many issues facing the early Christian church. They are among the most theological and pastorally important Scriptures, and you will enjoy digging into these powerful writings.

Facilitators: Sandra <[email protected]> and Carissa <[email protected]>

4. Wednesdays 12-1pm SU Club's Space Workroom #3  Topic: Book of Proverbs

The Book of Proverbs is a remarkable collection of practical and time worn wisdom. It contains some of the most applicable nuggets of truth in the entire Bible. These sayings are full of imagery from the real world, and address such topics such as integrity, hard work, disciplline, anger, etc. Check it out!

Facilitator: Rick <[email protected]>

Volunteer Opportunities

Experience personal enrichment through community service.

Reading and Running

We volunteer at a local fitness and literacy program called Reading and Running Clubson a weekly basis, mentoring kids in elementary schools in Bowness, Forest Lawn, and Erin Woods. This highly developed program includes reading skills and fitness development through running, games and circuits. This is a great opportunity to work with inner city grade 1-6 kids with a goal of running a 5 km race in late May. We could use some help with volunteers, so if you are interested let us know!
