Media and Technology Specialist
Jaimie is a new member of the Navigators family, starting full time September 2012. She is a Carleton University graduate (BIT-IMD) who has recently joined the Head Office staff in the media department. Jaimie has a heart for quality Christian media in the world. She believes that without a solid presentation, getting an accurate depiction Christianity out to the world is incredibly difficult.
Jaimie joined the Navigators in Ottawa in 2008 and was impressed that the staff there (Chris Barrett) remembered her and invited her and her friends out to a Carleton Navigators "Dinner and Discussion" event.
She has been exploring various missions with her art both in Canada and abroad. Jaimie got her call for missions in media in 2005 when, on a missions trip in Eastern Canada, she was very convicted of the power of the media and how God is planning to use it as a way to spread the truth about Himself in this multi-media age. She has been pursuing these dreams ever since through Atlantic Youth Missions Cape Breton, Youth With a Mission New Zealand, Intervarsity's Circle Square Ranch Arden and finally with the Navigators of Canada.
