Navigator Community Ministries
Celebrate Recovery is international. It began in Saddleback Church in 1991 by John Baker and Rick Warren. Ben Hartford of the Navigators in partnership with Philpott Memorial Church is bringing this program to Hamilton. Navigators value the principles of life-on-life discipleship, mentoring, accountability, and modeling. These principles are part of the Celebrate Recovery DNA. Through this powerful tool we help people overcome their hurts, hang-ups and habits. People discover power and freedom to live the life Jesus promises. Lives are being changed in profound ways!
In just over 10 years CR has grown to 13,000 churches and 500,000 participants. Celebrate Recovery is based on the Beatitudes and principles from the 12 step programs (Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Overeaters Anonymous, etc.).
