Navigators of Canada

The Navigators is a community of people from varied backgrounds on the journey of seeking, knowing and loving Jesus. We encourage each other to become apprentices of Jesus' life and teachings (discipleship) as we investigate and study the Bible together. We want to experience and have our lives shaped by the Good News of Jesus, discovering our purposes in life for the glory of God. Along the way, we will have fun developing authentic friendships with one another, celebrating and expressing God's love and grace among us on the campus and beyond.

UBC Navigators are about discovery. Life is a gift and we believe that we exist for a good and fulfilling purpose. Discovering who Jesus is, how to follow Him and blessing our communities are essential to this journey. We arrange campus Bible studies, prayer groups, overseas and local adventure opportunities, retreats, dinners, and help inner city kids learn to read and run. Make this a year of discovery and get involved in your world!

The ambition of our Navigator community on Manitoba campuses is to become better followers of Jesus Christ. We aspire to love God more deeply and other people with increasing acceptance and grace. We want to treat others the way we want to be treated and to live simply and generously. We are committed to discovering and participating in God's presence through the Scriptures, story, art, culture and relationships. Using reason and imagination, and guided by faith and history, we seek an authentic faith that embraces the realities of life in today's Winnipeg and beyond. So we at the Navs Victoria see ourselves as a group of students committed to exploring and discovering life through faith, with the audacious goal of applying Jesus' teachings to everyday life. We also aim to journey with those who want to discover more about faith and ask questions in a safe atmosphere.
