  Who we are

We are an international, interdenominational movement whose purpose is to bring the Good News of Jesus and His Kingdom to the nations. We do this by living out the Good News within the relational networks of life. As others learn to follow Christ, through loving 'one to one' mentoring, coaching and discipling in all aspects of life, Navigators equip people to be labourers to "go and do likewise" (2 Timothy 2:2). Nations are impacted through spiritual generations of godly people.

Navigators live next door to people in all walks of life, investing in people's lives, creating communities where people feel safe and valued, influencing them to live as Jesus would so that others would come to know Christ and desire to make Him known wherever they go.

To Know Christ and To Make Him Known

Navigator staff serve in many capacities: on the university campus; in business and professional settings; with international students; cross-culturally (both in Canada and abroad); in church discipleship and through the Navigators Resource Centre. But, our movement is much broader than only our staff and these other Navigators (labourers) are likely to be found almost anywhere!

Globally, The Navigators of Canada is part of the International Navigators which has over 5,000 staff in more than 100 countries and speaking over 40 languages. Within Canada, we have 80 staff in nearly every province, serving 4 language groups. Overseas our staff serve in various settings, whether in the university context, business relationships, micro-enterprise or in restricted access countries.

Helping others come to know and love Jesus and impact their communities for eternity is at the heart of all we do.
