President's 50^th Anniversary Dinner and Breakfast

September 1960, a tall, slim, young Gene Soderberg crossed the Canada–USA border with his wife Edie and their young daughters to begin the Navigator Ministry in Toronto, Ontario. Now 50 years later in November, they are returning to celebrate with us 50 years of ministry. We would be so pleased for you to join us at one or both of the following events, in this celebration of God's blessing on The Navigators.

President's Dinner speaker: Bob Sheffield
Born and raised in Toronto, Bob Sheffield's involvement with The Navigators began in 1963. He was instrumental in the start of the campus ministry while studying at the University of Guelph. In 1966 Bob and his wife Nancy moved to the U.S. where he has served in various leadership roles, including Deputy U.S. Director and CoMission Director in Eastern Europe. He presently serves as Development Representative, U.S. Navigators. Bob and Nancy have been married for 48 years, have three children and eight grandchildren. They live in Colorado Springs.

President's Breakfast speaker: Jerry White
Dr. Jerry White is President Emeritus and Chairman of the U.S. Board of Directors of The Navigators. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Christian Leadership Alliance of the U.S. and is on the Board and Executive Committee of the Lausanne Committee on World Evangelization and the Board of Greater Europe Mission. Jerry and his wife Mary have written 13 books on various topics including work, ethics and parenting adult children. His latest book, The Joseph Road (NavPress) was released in 2009. Jerry and Mary White have four children and eleven grandchildren and live in Colorado Springs.
